Ted Malone

Founder and President


Ted formed CHR in 1996 after many years of lauded work in affordable housing across the country.


Regionally, he was awarded the 2004 Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing from the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation. In September 2007, Ted received the Gwen Pelletier Award for Excellence in Community Service to the Cape Cod community from the Community Development Partnership. In October 2016, he was awarded for Excellence in Affordable Housing Advocacy by Highland Affordable Housing in Truro. The Cape Cod Commission has highlighted his neighborhood development efforts at Meadow Road as a “Best Practice” Model.


His innovative, thoughtful, and sustainable leadership expertise in affordable housing design and development continues to make him a sought-out and well-known expert in community-oriented neighborhoods throughout the region and nationwide.


He is currently in the funding award process for Cloverleaf in Truro and Paine Hollow Road in Wellfleet.


Ted serves on the Board of Trustees of The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and is Co-Chair of the Building Committee. Ted also serves on the Building Committee of Lily House in Wellfleet.
